Why take this Giving and Receiving Feedback course?

By completing this course, you'll learn valuable skills to use in the workplace. This topic is known as a power skill, and when you complete it, you'll be able to identify different types of feedback and the appropriate ways to respond to them, learn the importance of both positive and negative feedback, reflect on how you respond to feedback, and the impact this has on your career development and progression. You'll also learn how to think more objectively about the way you handle feedback. It's important to note that while feedback might be labelled as positive or negative, if you can think of it in a neutral way, as simply feedback, it can make it easier to digest. But that can be tricky to do, and that's why the focus of this short course is on handling negative feedback.
